saving pages & source code

I'm rather fond of saving whole webpages & viewing the source code.
I had actually started saving webpages by using the ctrl +s command many years ago, when I discovered it somehow, in order to be able to read the content whilst offline, or to preserve it from deletion. now that I've learned a bit of HTML, I have found out about ctrl + u to inspect the source code. it's endlessly fascinating to me...
