Have you ever heard anyone getting drunk from the food, it is also my first time witnessing it. When they said don't bite more than you can chew some people take it as a joke but it's not really a joke because if you do you can get choke or it might not digest and give you a problem later on.
This words does not go well with my cousin at all because he also take it as a joke and join the group of people that says let just eat whatever we have and eat it all, no need to keep any for the future because future will take care of itself.
There was a day I went for a visit just for the weekend in my uncle's house and my uncle happened to buy bread on his way back. This bread was new in town and it is also the talk of the Town because of it's texture and flavor but before he came back that day, we have already had our dinner.
The bread was big and he gave one to me and my cousin and one to my cousin's other brothers. I divided our own into two, I keep my own and gave my cousin his own. I cannot eat the bread that day because I was already full but it was the opposite for my cousin because he finished his own before we know it and even collected from his brothers and still eat it despite being full, is that not greediness. I just looked at him and fa e my business, it is is stomach after all.
We all went to bed and after some minutes, i started hearing someone crying silently and when I traced where it was coming from I ended up in that my cousin's rooms. I met him rolling on the floor from one angle to another.
I asked him what the problem is and he started crying and said "I am too full, I can't feel my stomach and I can't stand up" I looked at him and started laughing, the way he said those words are so funny, if you see his mouth you won't be able to hold your laughter. It's not like someone fed him, he ate it by himself, how can he not know when to stop when he is already full.
I don't know how to help him since I can only help with I'm hungry, how am I to deal with someone who overeat and started crying out of nowhere. I went to my uncle's room and told him what is happening and he came to join us in his son's room.
He almost beat him up for his foolishness before giving him anything to use but then his condition is worst enough for anybody to add to it. When he woke up the following day, I asked him why he have to overeat when he is not a kid and he said he was bewitched by the taste of the bread and he couldn't stop himself from eating.
I thought that experience will teach him a lesson but then he have to over feed himself with party jollof rice again because it was so delicious, we have to carry him all the way home, he was there crying like a baby. I mean how can someone get drunk from a food just because it was delicious.
Thanks for checking on my blog and have a wonderful day
