Splinterlands Art Contest - Pembrook Nymph

Hello hive friends, I hope your day is going great, welcome to my blog.
It's week 231 of the splinterlands art contest and this is my submission. I've been working on this for some days now, it took such a long time because I was off and on but I'm glad it's finished and here's how it was painted.

Es la semana 231 del concurso de arte splinterlands y esta es mi presentación. He estado trabajando en esto desde hace unos días, me tomó mucho tiempo porque estaba de vez en cuando, pero me alegro de que esté terminado y aquí está cómo se pintó.

Pembrook nymph is such a beautiful card, I love her pose, the colour pallete and all her accessories, it's just dope. She's a water summoner with long hair, full hair, perfect skin and the queen of river. nymphs.

La ninfa de Pembrook es una carta preciosa, me encanta su pose, la paleta de colores y todos sus accesorios, es sencillamente genial. Es una invocadora del agua con pelo largo y abundante, piel perfecta y la reina de las ninfas de río.

Process

Proceso

Working on this took longer than usual because I couldn't get the pose right in the beginning. I eventually got a sketch I could work with, then I started painting base colours for skin, clothes, hair , jewellery, and other accessories. I really lover her clothing and it was quite easy to recreate, the shell-like stuff on her head wasn't really easy but I figured it out in the end.

Trabajar en esto me llevó más tiempo de lo habitual porque al principio no conseguía hacer bien la pose. Al final conseguí un boceto con el que podía trabajar y empecé a pintar los colores base de la piel, la ropa, el pelo, las joyas y otros accesorios. Me encanta su ropa y fue bastante fácil de recrear, lo de la cabeza en forma de concha no fue tan fácil, pero al final lo conseguí.

After painting the flat colours, she still looked just mehhh. I started adding deatils, this is easily my favourite part in the whole process because the painting comes to life. I painted lighter and darker highlights to her skin and clothes, I picked more colours for the design, I added more details to shells and other accessories. I added the fish and the effect around it, painted more strands on her hair with lighter colours. I also added glow and shine were necessary before painting a simple background. I hope you love it!!

Después de pintar los colores planos, seguía teniendo un aspecto mediocre. Empecé a añadir detalles, que es lo que más me gusta de todo el proceso, porque el cuadro cobra vida. Pinté reflejos más claros y más oscuros en su piel y su ropa, elegí más colores para el diseño, añadí más detalles a las conchas y otros accesorios. Añadí el pez y el efecto a su alrededor, pinté más mechones en su pelo con colores más claros. También añadí brillo y resplandor cuando fue necesario antes de pintar un fondo sencillo. ¡Espero que os encante!
