Splinterlands Art Contest | Lorna Shine

Greetings everyone! It's another beautiful day here and I spent it making this new work which is my submission for the splinterlands art contest.

¡Saludos a todos! Es otro hermoso día aquí y lo pasé haciendo este nuevo trabajo que es mi presentación para el concurso de arte splinterlands.

Lorna shine is a beautiful card, her skin is incredibly fair and her hair glows like a flame, she carries a sword on her back and always ready for combat.

Lorna shine es una carta preciosa, su piel es increíblemente clara y su pelo brilla como una llama, lleva una espada a la espalda y siempre está lista para el combate.

Process

Proceso

I started with a quick simple sketch, then I painted base colours for skin, hair, clothes and her sword. For her facial features, retained her blue eye colours as in the original art, I added some blue strands to her brows and lashes too. For the detailing, I painted more strands on her hair, added lighter and darker highlights on her skin bringing the work to life. I also added more details and colours to her clothes. I then added blue glow to her face, hair and other important areas. I chose a simple background and I really love the outcome and I hope you do too....

Empecé con un boceto rápido y sencillo, y luego pinté colores base para la piel, el pelo, la ropa y la espada. Para los rasgos faciales, mantuve el color azul de los ojos, como en el dibujo original, y añadí algunas hebras azules a las cejas y las pestañas. Para los detalles, pinté más mechones en el pelo y añadí reflejos más claros y más oscuros en la piel. También añadí más detalles y colores a su ropa. Luego añadí brillo azul a la cara, el pelo y otras zonas importantes. Elegí un fondo sencillo y me encanta el resultado, espero que a vosotros también ....
