Last year, I gave myself a simple challenge: Draw every single day for one year.
Some days the drawings were good, some days they were just bad and some just okay. But I showed up anyway and it taught me discipline, consistency, and I improved a lot. As someone who procrastinate a lot, I'm glad I attempted this.

This year feels different.
I don’t think I want my sketchbook to feel like homework, I don't want my pages to look so serious or thesame either. I just want it to feel alive, to have personality. I want pages that feel playful, strange, emotional, and free. Some pages might tell a story, some might just be random symbols or shapes, words or feelings and that’s okay.
The goal now isn’t perfection or improvement alone.
The goal is to have fun.
I want to enjoy flipping through a sketchbook filled with a wild range of stuff and also getting a glimpse of who I was that day. My sketchbook is a space where I can experiment and express myself without pressure so I won't be drawing every day, I'll just show up and do what I feel like with more joy and zero stress.
