Hello everyone, creating fanart of cool characters is becoming a fun experience for me, this one is for the holozing game and I tried to incorporate holo colours, I love how sleek and bright the colours on the original character looks.
This is the reference and also used some of the colours. I can up with some ideas which is basically the Afro hairstyle, an Eyewear that clips behind her ears, clothing and jewelleries.
PROCESS
I did the sketch which was quite fast, I painted some colours for her hair and clothes. Layering the colours wasn't really easy, I wanted to use the gradient tool for a better effect but they hair was on different layers and I didn't want that kind of stress. I painted her facial features and flat colours for her jewelleries.
I haven't seen an afro hairstyle so far so i decided to do it, the clothing design was a bit of a headache but I figured it out after erasing and spending much time on it. Her eye wear was done last minute, it has little gems around it and a handle that connects to her ears. I painted lots of jewellery this time because I wanted her to really pop. I then rendered the skin, clothes and hair also added some marks on parts of her face and body.
This took a bit of time and I took breaks, I added lighting in some areas and painted the background.
