I made a painting today! I wanted something kinda bright and warm so I chose a brown skin tone. I feel like the warm brown skin makes a strong base, while the curly golden-orange hair shines like fire and grabs all the attention which was exactly what I wanted before I started the painting.
Another thing that stands out is her glowing eyes which gives her a mysterious and magical look, almost otherworldly. I also kept the background dark as it makes the colors stand out even more.
