"Storms pass,
but the flowers remain.”
This is a new painting that shows a calm moment before the rain starts. It rained all day and still won't stop so I painted something that reflects my day, a calm, and moody landscape. At the front, you see tall green grasses and little yellow flowers, bright and lively. Behind them is a wide green field with trees spread out across it and a cat sits in the center, she probably feels the way I feel today.
Looking farther back, the hills fade into less saturated shades of blue and above them, I painted big gray clouds to fill up the sky. The clouds look heavy, like they’re about to burst with rain.
