It was a combination of hike and chores today. We were at Asin, Tuba yesterday and this morning we had a bit of a hike towards the nearest falls. It is just near the road and you can see it from the bridge. There are several falls along the way that you can stop by and have check it out.
This is taken at the resort that we checked in and from there we walked going to the waterfalls. We had to go in a tunnel to get to the falls.
This is one the tunnels alon the road of Asin. It was started during the Spanish regime.
A few steps after the end of the tunnel is the waterfalls.
The water is not that big so it's okay to check it out. We thought it would be bigger because of the continuous rain. I am not sure where the source of this is but I think it comes from Irisan.
At this part, the pools are not that deep and it is safe to swim. We see a lot of locals coming here whenever we were in this area. A sign said no to illegal fishing. I wonder if there were really fishes here to be caught and if there are what kind.
At the other side of the bridge where the water drains is a bigger waterfalls but it is harder to get to it. I can only get a photo of it from afar by the road side.
The other activities I had are walking and doing laundry once I got home.
All photos are mine.
