JUST GO STRAIGHT

Dear friends,

Today, my family and I woke up early around 7 am to go to the church. Our fellowships begins 9 am often, so, before Sunday, it is necessary to sleep early at night because God wants us to do the three P's: plan, prepare, prioritize. Before Sunday, we should plan what to eat in the morning and what time to sleep. We should prepare our proper clothes by ironing before sleeping, collecting water in case we are running out of it, shoes and socks, money for tithes and offering, and our fare. We should always prioritize the two so we will go to the church prepared and excited.

Sometimes, I'm guilty 'coz I can't do the three p's. Why does it happen to me? Because of too much exposure on the Internet and at work.

These days, I try to avoid things that can distract my creed. If there is an environment that can influence me to desire more of material wealth and nature, I become weaker who is tempted easily, so I try to avoid Instagram and Facebook. I just open my Facebook if I needed to and only a few hours to expose myself on chatting.

Certainly, we have many Gods these days that decieves us. We worship the celebrities, social media, materials, and money. These are the false God. We idolized celebrities. Idolatry is a sin. What I always ask above is to give me strength not to turn my head to the left, to the right, and what is behind me. I desire to go straight because my eyes are the greatest sinners. It causes me to daydream worldly desires and to commit idolatry.

As we watched the Christian TV show yesterday, I was hit when the pastor sermoned about forgetting to talk with God because of too much exposure on the Internet and for too much working which is not good. God said that we shall work hard just like an ant who works hard in midst of the calamities, but He does not said to work hard and forget Him. He said to plant foods but commit everything to Him and He will bless us a hundred times.
