There is a kind of magic in the arrival of the monsoon season. Now that the month of Sawan is finally upon us in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan, our garden has come back to life with new vigor. The weather feels cooler, the vegetation appears healthier, and the flowers appear to bloom with great freshness.
While enjoying myself in the garden today, I took these pictures of one of my favorite flowers—Arabian Jasmine also called Motia. It has bewitched me with its beautiful blossoms and heavenly scent since my childhood. Flowers have always been one of the most beloved creations of nature in my eyes, and I am sure that there is nothing more beautiful than flowers anywhere on this planet. There are so many varieties and colors, but every single flower has something enchanting about it, however, the scent of jasmine is something unique and special.
Gardening has always been one of my favorite pastimes. Like everyone else, I have always desired spending time gardening flowers and plants, but life just doesn’t give any opportunity to do this.
It is fortunate for me that since I have moved to a new house, I now have sufficient space for the garden which I have been planning to make all along.
In the last few months, I have planted some flowering plants, and it has now become one of the most satisfying things about my life, seeing them grow. These photographs are only a small part of my garden. In the coming days, I would love to be able to show you many more flowers and plants in my garden.
I hope that you love these pictures as much as I loved taking them.
