Hello LBIers, today let's daydream. So word on the street is someone was able to buy and put 55,000 LEO for around 1 HIVE. If you have not heard about this, let me rephrase. Some lucky mofo pulled the greatest fooking LEO heist in the history of the LeoVerse for under $1.

Ok so it was not a heist but the ROI is about 8000x so I have to tip my hat and say "You lucky SOB...well played". There's a new King in the Kingdom. Of course condolences to the guy that sold them at 0.0000000000008008 HIVE each. I bet they saw what they did while the transaction was confirmed and...

knowing nothing could be done, goodbye $8k worth LEO and then comes that feeling in the pit of your stomach like you've just been kicked in the balls, heart rate increases, panic kicks in and then something form of physical activity. Punch the desk, HULK smash your keyboard, throw something and then the regret comes. Ohh, I've been there my friend, I have felt your pain, maybe not for $8k but everyone makes mistakes. BTW, I have no idea who the seller was, he could be a millionaire that does not give 2 F's or it could be one of us simple plebs that's been grinding for 3 years and saving up that LEO for a rainy day.

They say without pain, there can not be beauty

Picking up 55,000 LEO for around 1 HIVE is the definition of beautiful. Personally, I have no idea how I would react if I'd placed such a buy order and ten seen it filled one day. My guess is something like...

But on the real, no joking about it. I think the actual amount sold off by this seller was much more than 55,000 LEO as they filled pretty much every buy order on the market. Think how crazy that is. The user that sold was singhcapital@singhcapital, they released one post years ago and there's no more info to see at a glance. I see they have another 50k LEO coming but at this point, they are on damage control. Pretty sad to see things like this happen. I dont know exactly how it went down but something epic went wrong on his side for this to happen.

It's fairly simple to avoid as well if you get into the habit of using AMMs like tribaldex pools or beeswap. For bigger transactions, i dont see hive-engine's exchange fit for this propose, everything over 300 LEO needs to be done on beeswap are something because the hive-engine diesel pools can handle them much better and you cant enter the wrong sell price to make this mistake.

As for the buyers, holy crap! A few people get some LEO at super low prices, i bet they are feeling like geniuses right now. 55,000 LEO would earn you 150 LEO in curation each week or 7800 per year for a 15% ROI. They could wrap it to BSC or POLY CUB farms and earn whatever they are paying out or they could sell the lot and take the $8ish k profit. Madness! I heard a few others got orders of a few thousand filled so a handful of people could be have done ok from this.

Bummer for the guy thats paying the expense but crypto is a bad bitch and she'll kick you down when you think everything is peachy.

Overall it is like the market has recovered pretty much with LEO still being down a little and in a few hours, it'll look like nothing happened at all. At least with LEO on hive-engine, there's decent liquidity and even if the buying side is wiped out in an event like this, give it 18-24 hours and everything will be back to normal.

If i got 55k LEO for 1 HIVE, I's wrap it up and get it on BCUB with BNB earning me some CUB $. What would you do if you find out your 55k LEO buy order for under 1 HIVE got filled? What would you do with your newfound wealth?

Edit - Just seeing i uploaded this to peaked and not LeoFinance. My bad and sorry. SSUK 馃槓
