Some bad en some good news
Today I suddenly saw the news that hackers got their hands on a sloppy $622 million from Axie Infinity. And that made me realize once again how happy we can be that the Splinterlands have never fallen prey to a hack of this magnitude. The hack with this amount is the second largest crypto hack ever. Whether that is something to be proud of is doubtful. But these kinds of messages make it clear once again how important security and responsibility are within crypto.
There was also positive news to read today. A school in Dubai has announced that it will accept both Bitcoin and Ethereum as payment. The school will open its doors later this year, in September. Another small contribution in the mass adoption of cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin is approaching resistance levels
In the meantime, Bitcoin is approaching the resistance levels of between $48K and $51K, according to the experts, and we have to wait and see what will happen. Of course, there is never any certainty.
Although never? That is questionable, because with LBI we have built up the certainty that LBI will certainly increase in value over time. And we are also sure that someone is going to win 5 LBI in the weekly contest today!
The price of PAXG last Friday was at 1952.59 dollars.
There were a few people who were very close to their prediction, unfortunately one person probably made a typo. And that typo now appears to make the difference between 5 LBI and nothing this week.
So the 5 LBI was won by
@fragozar01 this week!
Congratulations! The 5 LBI has now been sent to your wallet on Hive-Engine.
The New Contest
And we're moving on quickly to a new round, new opportunities for everyone. With the message that such a huge hack had taken place at Axie Infinity. Most of which has been looted in Ethereum, I thought it would be appropriate to start following the price of Ethereum again this week.
So here's the question;
What is 1 Ethereum (ETH) worth this Friday, April 1, 2022 at 12:00 noon Central European Time?
I'd love to see your answers here in the comments for next Thursday evening at 6pm.
Have a nice week!
