I fought several Hiss entities and blasters, throwing their own bodies as weapons. After opening a large door to find health, stronger enemies ambushed and defeated me. Sent back to a save point, I returned to find the first area cleansed, allowing me to eliminate the remaining threats.
I hoped I would make it out of the sector in one piece as I moved deeper into the hostile zone. I started my assault by attacking a particularly strong Hiss entity from the side.
I kept my distance and watched the area carefully, noticing that the enemies were not moving toward my position right away.
Suddenly, one of the stronger Hiss entities closed the distance much faster than I had anticipated. It came entirely too close and almost took me down with a devastating strike. I somehow survived the brutal encounter by stepping back at the very last second.
I knew it was time to take care of the blasters before they came back to overwhelm me from all sides. I scanned the massive room and noticed several other airborne Hiss entities flying around the upper levels.
A blaster moved in aggressively, trying to push me away with a heavy attack. After I took him down, I used my abilities to pull his falling body and hurl it directly at one of his allies. It worked quite well and gave me a much-needed tactical advantage.
I decided I should go for the healing Hiss clusters next to cut off their support system. After handling those, I planned to target the remaining Hiss entities that were floating around the room. Otherwise, the clusters would just heal the enemies repeatedly, completely undoing all my hard work.
Before executing that plan, I desperately needed to gather some health particles to recover from the damage I had taken.
I carefully went outside to restore my health. The Hiss entities were still active and searching for me, but I had to take the risk to stay alive.
I had no intention of actually leaving without taking every single one of them down. I stepped through an exit, only to instantly realize my mistake.
There were even stronger enemies waiting in a brutal ambush just outside the threshold. They overwhelmed me completely and took me down right after I entered their territory.
I was sent all the way back to the last saving point, feeling a bit frustrated by the sudden defeat. I really hoped I would not have to fight all those difficult Hiss entities in the miniature map area all over again. The thought of repeating that entire grueling battle from scratch was daunting.
Fortunately, things worked out in my favor, and I did not have to fight them again.
The adjacent side, however, was clearly not free of the corruption. The enemies were waiting there in full numbers, completely ready for another fight. Seeing the overwhelming odds stacked against me, I decided to just step back and draw them out instead of rushing in blindly.
My defensive strategy worked perfectly as some of the aggressive blasters followed me straight into the narrow corridor. I was completely ready for them inside this tight space, and I took them down smoothly one by one.
I then stepped back out to eliminate that strong Hiss entity, who had also returned to patrol the open field.
I took him down easily this time, actively avoiding the mistakes I made during our first encounter.
A few more blasters showed up to reinforce the area shortly after, but I was fully prepared for their arrival. I simply took them all down without any issues, and finally cleared the zone entirely.
