in @seo-boss article I found out about a Bitcoin puzzle where one can win 2.1Bitcoin. I never liked riddles but I like investigation, to show case how I get my information for Investing, I try the puzzle maybe some one find it helpful and can solve it (if there is something to solve at all). The People on Twitter are not really...organised.
- In this picture hidden 2.1BTC
- Public Key
[a legacy adress with 1.1BTC and 3Transaction-History]
the team said the will send the additional 1BTC when somebody has the solution...
- checking if this is real or scam
the other transaction accounts seem legit, nothing special
Keys so far:
Words: "BTC", "ETH", "XRP", "Phemex" (the coins which can be traded on Phemex)
"first 21 digit prime found in consecutive digits of e"
e= Eulers number: 2.7182818284590452353602874713527...
first 21 digit prime: 957496696762772407663
Lets check the file:
Type PNG
nothing special here
File name: satoshipuzzle.png
dimensions: 939*1254=1177506 (probably not important)Now open it in Text-Editor to see the raw data:
[lots of mumbojumbo]
To see if additional Text is or other data is added to the file, check for the important Chunks:
important chunks:
IHDR image-header, the first chunk
PLTE palette-table. Optional chunk
IDAT image-data chunks
IEND trailer. Marks the end of the PNG string
Like in the Cicada Puzzle they could have placed messages after the IEND chunk. Data added after this chunk will not change anything, only the size of the PNG-file itself.
obviously nothing is added here
However, I tried to outguess it with a steghide, steg.net and other steganography programms and used to decode it
but nothing there
the file is just what we see
- one can hexdump it to hexadecimal
[hmmsomething here?]
- one can look at every nth bit:
cant find anything...
No the face is not a maze it has only one entrance but also a dead end
- checking the file on the website
[again nothing special]
So lets leave the data and return to the image
any insider or memes in there?
The "(the first 10-digit prime in e).com" was a website where google tried to hire smart people, it was a big campaign back then
they used the answer the 10 digit number as a URL
7427466391.com
so lets check:
http://957496696762772407663.net/ NOPE
http://957496696762772407663.com/ NOPE
http://957496696762772407663. ??? ....
Lets add it to the phemex URL
The browser ignores arbitrage numbers at the end of URL...(maybe you know better how URL works)
Bitcoin private key
why a 21 character number?
In Bitcoin, a private key is a 256-bit number, it can be represented in:
- hexadecimal - 256 bits in hexadecimal is 32 bytes
- 64 characters in the range 0-9, A-F
example: E9873D79C6D87DC0FB6A5778633389F4453213303DA61F20BD67FC233AA33273
our 957496696762772407663 in HEX is: 33E7EF9CABBAF6C56F
now we
add
XRP : 58 52 50
ETH: 45 54 48
BTC: 42 54 43
Phemex: 50 68 65 6d 65 78
58 52 50 45 54 48 42 54 43 50 68 65 6d 65 78
33E7EF9CABBAF6C56F5852504554484254435068656d6578 (48 Character HEX String...not exactly what we look for)
for exapmple, private Keys can have that many characters:
maybe it is just about hashing the NUMBER+ XRP +ETH +BTC + Phemex together 😂😂
Update
I generated a List of all possible combinations of Prime + XRP+ETH+BTC+Phemex
