The communiqué shared through the official website of the company urges users of the platform, who have in their portfolios the cryptocurrencies of the published list, to withdraw their funds before March 30, because after that date they will not You can do it. However, Bittrex mentioned that not all 82 cryptocurrencies can be withdrawn, since some have code problems in their blockchain, which makes secure transactions impossible. In those cases, they clarified that the impossibility of removing these tokens is not due to the Bittrex platform, but is caused by a problem with the underlying blockchain or the wallet associated with that cryptoactive.
Bittrex has previously removed other tokens from its offer list. In October 2017, the exchange office announced the withdrawal of Bitshares from its portfolio. This event caused a decrease of up to 21% of the value of the cryptoactive in the market worldwide.
