I like that they can be found on any coast around the world and give a familiar feeling when being abroad.

This photo shows the lighthouse in Hörnum at the southern end of Sylt. Fun fact: From 1914-1933 the lighthouse housed Germanys smallest school with only 2-5 students in one room at the height of the white ring.
