I am pictured with an unnamed pond located within the northwestern corner of California's Siskiyou Wilderness area. The pond is located in the forest just west of Harrington peak in a very remote part of northern California. It was a two day hike in and we stayed and worked for ten days in the wilderness area. We worked on recovering a route connecting the northern and southern boundaries of the wilderness that has been out of use for the past fifty years.
