It's a great pleasure to be back in your community; time hasn't been kind to me due to the events of last June, with the devastating double earthquake in my country. After a month, I've decided to move forward. Today I'm sharing a coffee I recently enjoyed during a family visit. The experience was incredible because of its quality and intense aroma. The brand is Santo Domingo, a brand I've seen featured on this page before, and I've always been curious to try it.
And my experience was extraordinary, because this aroma brought back memories of my family; its flavor and freshness maintain that balance when it is being prepared, and when you can smell it in its own bag, it awakens the senses.
This time, I wanted to satisfy my curiosity, and I was able to buy it at a supermarket. Today, with a touch of nostalgia, I wanted to drink a cup of that good coffee to relax and take my mind off some sad thoughts. I wanted to take some time to unwind, and the only way to do that was by sipping on this wonderful Santo Domingo coffee. I highly recommend it; its balanced flavor allows you to perceive the acidity and bitterness of its ground beans, leaving a smooth and rich taste on the palate. This time, I wanted to pair it with some delicious orange cookies that I made to make my conversation with myself more enjoyable. You can find the recipe at this link.
The coffee is delicious; it reminded me of those great brands that were once our grandparents' favorites. Although there's a variety of coffee in our country, not all of it is excellent; this time I was lucky. And this coffee is also used in the best coffee shops in the country, so it has a lot of credibility. We have two options: prepare it in the warmth of our homes or enjoy it in the privacy of a room with good company. Both options are great. So a cup of this good coffee is a gift for lovers of this traditional beverage.
