Around 40 years ago my father was on Thompson Pass working on the pipeline here in Alaska.
When he was at the very top of the Pass he decided to TAG his name on the mountainside.
Our name DANCER written on the side of the mountain was something our family always pointed out and talked about everytime we drove that road. I loved seeing our name on that mountain, it meant we were almost home. It was much darker when I was a child, I am glad it is still around for my children to see it.
