Ponder on this profound statement until it makes perfect sense to your Sense of Reasoning and Understanding...
"Iron Rusts from Disuse; Stagnant Water Loses its Purity and in Cold Weather becomes Frozen; even so does inaction Sap the Vigor of the Mind" - Leonardo Davinci
So let me break it down:
Why do you think irons get rusted?
Our minds are like Irons, we can carved and mold dreams into reality from Irons.
Looking back in time the discovery of irons sparked a renaissance of industrial revolution in the life of mankind's; The Iron Age! And till this day, irons are one essential natural resources whose values and relevance can never be over emphasized!
Ever wonder this popular saying;
'Irons sharpen Iron'
Our minds are like irons if left unsharpen by the day over time it lost its sparks and splendours then overtimes whittled down and becomes moribund just like 'rusted irons.'
Because we fail to sharpen our minds everyday, so our minds over time becomes obsolete and oblivion forever lost in the past!
Why are we ever so afraid to just take a risk; and take that quantum leap of fate?
Why are we ever so comfortable with being okay where we are now when the world is out there waiting for us all to be conquered?
Do you really think you have seen enough of the world?
Are you afraid to leave your comfort zone thinking out loud; this is where have always wanted to be?!
Are you really sure about that? Prick your conscience and ask again?
I have being to every city across the world, I have dine at the Palace of Versailles with noble men and ladies if the castles. I have being to the Indian city of Agra just to see the Taj Mahal; lovely structures and please don't forget the Tomb; simply marvellous!
I have being to New York, the city that never sleeps; the cultural, financial and media capital of the world.
I have been to Mecca and Medina; where I did performed my Hajj, timeless and beautiful cities I must confessed.
I have walked the entire 21,196 km length of the Great Wall of China; tagged one of the world most impressive architectural feat's in history.
I have traveled far and near. Just last year I finally sum up courage to visit the state of Arizona in the United States of America to see The Grand Canyon, having first witnessed it on the Discovery Channels; but being there in person marvelling at every segments of layers alluring and pleasing to the eyes. Though I would love to go back and explore the Grand Canyon further, my last journey there was cut short by my professional ethics (Things we do for work) sigh!
I was at The Niagara falls; chilling and breath taken atmosphere from the rising of the sun till sunset. From the smallest to the largest of the three water falls! What an astoundingly amazingly waterfalls effects that keeps you trapped and marvelling at nature's beauty!
Just the other night, I just returned from the border town of El Giza in Egypt to see The Great Pyramid of Giza! The oldest and the most largest of the three ancient pyramids with its architectural works and mystery's still intact!
"I have been round the world... Nothing else to see my friend" You often boasted!
Have you walked across the entire land mass of the Sahara Desert?
Have you climbed to the highest peak of Mount Everest?
Have you been to the Antarctica?
Have you went on a voyage across the sea like the fabled 'Captain Sinbad?'
How about going Scuba Diving?
Have you went bongey jumping from the highest peak of the Kilamanjaro?
How about Sky Diving?
Have you ever been to the Shuttle Station just on a familiarization tour... Have you ever been out of space? Have you ever walked the moon; doing the Wacko Jacko famous Moon Walker Dance?
Don't just sit there wishing your days away!
Don't just stand there looking at the horizon far beyond, wandering what is lurking out there!
Don't get caught in the trap of procrastination and lack of courage; have the strong will to do what you have always wanted to do!
Go where you have always wanted to go!
See what you have always wanted to see! Be all you have always wanted to be!
The time is now!
Don't let that spirit of inactions sapped into your being, bedevilling your mind!
Numbing you of your sanity until when it gets too late!
Get off your lazy arse, get cracking, get to work!
The world out there is yours, seize the day and take it!
