Pain is one of the most beautiful gifts of nature.
Pain is a very valuable treasure to experience from time to time in life; no matter how badly it hurts, pain is a very good teacher for those who are always willing to learn and keep growing.

Our everyday struggles and strife to be better always comes at a price; some call it our everyday sacrifices towards attaining that ultimate goal in life.

Sometimes our expectations in life often clouded our minds that we often fails to realized and take heed why things happen so fast and sometimes why they never materialized. If we could only but take a moment to walk through it all again; there lies the credence to that popular sayings, “No pain, No gain.”

Ask every winner around you the key to their victory? They will be so quick to remind you how hard work pays; the excruciating pains and efforts, the regrets and disappointment from those we thought would always have our back, to the self realization and determination of of always believing in ourselves that “Winners don’t quit and Quitters don’t win.”

Life ups and downs are nothing but learning curves, they are there to help us have a rethink and take caution on how far we have come and how far we still need to go in this journey of life.

So if you are right there feeling so much pains and hurts that you feel there can never be light at the end of this narrow and long tunnel of life you are surfing through, please don’t relent. Don’t give in to your pains and self doubts because if it doesn’t kills you, it will surely make you come out stronger and better!

Just like you there are many times I felt like giving up, taking the easy way out and bowing to all the pressures and challenges of life that are pulling me down, dragging me behind like a burden way above my head. I have contemplated suicide so many times saying, “I can’t go on with this burden, its killing me by the day and there’s no end in sight; the only end is to just give up and die”

But come to think of it steemians, if I committed suicide, what does that make me, a loser or a failure or a man who is tired of running?

I’m tired of hiding and burying my head’s in shame for the lost future, the lost dream; my lost goals in life that is taking eternity to bear fruits.

I’m tired of broken promises,
I’m tired of dreams that lack wings to soar,
I’m tired of hope that keeps fading away like vapour through the sky
I’m tired of this nagging headache inside my head as a result of ceaseless thinking and wanton thoughts.
I’m tired of today,
I’m tired of seeing tomorrow,
I’m tired of rippers called friends and family,
I’m tired of the world…
Let me have my peace!

Through it all, I don’t want to be a loser
I don’t want to fail my self
I don’t want to fail my parents
I don’t want to fail my loved ones
I don’t want to fail my yet unborn child
I don’t want to fail my very beginning
I don’t’ want to fail my very existence.

I have come this far,
I have been through hell and back,
And I’m still here standing tall,
I shall never take my precious life,
I shall walk through this fire,
I shall come out burnt,
But I will live through it all…
And I shall gives testimonies of my trials and tribulations,
And I shall overcome,

Cause in time, this too shall pass!

I have made a vow; to learn from my pains and agonies of yesterdays,
This shall form the bedrock to a new me,
The better version of me,
Cause my pains shall see me through it all.

Pain is my mentor,
Pain is my elixir of life,
Pain is my only best friend!
