Hello Splinters, I'm Lagnarok. Welcome back to my Splinterlands Weekly Social Media Challenge. A young and ambitious Light Speed Magician from Water Faction challenges a Woman well-known for her ability to set up a perfect defence against any Magic and Ranged-type attack.
Born Marissa Maewyn in a small village on the outskirts of Lyveria on the continent of Anumun, the Queen of Crows has had the power to speak to and control crows even as a child. Others ostracized her for her unusual ability, and she grew up an outcast. Her crows were her only companions, and she used them to defend herself against those who sought to harm her because they feared what she could do. She spent her adolescence studying the dark arts and became enthralled with Alturia Dragonforth, the Dark Enchantress and Lagfaelβs Queen, who originally hailed from nearby Lyveria. In time, Marissaβs enthrallment turned to envy. She fantasized about journeying to Mortis, replacing the Dark Enchantress, and joining an unholy union with the Lord of Darkness. Read More.
The Battle happened in a Wild Silver League, a Ranked Battle Match. The battle details are 56 mana caps with a Healout and a Fog of War rulesets, making Melee-type Monsters not work perfectly this time.

With Healing Outs and Fog of War ruleset, there is no way for my opponent or me to use Sneak or Opportunity Meta, so the most possibility is Magic-Meta or Range Meta will be used in this time battle. With this, Death Faction is the best choice for this kind of battle.
With Death Faction, I prepared multiple layers of nerf abilities for my opponent. With Harklaw's Immunity and Shield, my front line will be safe from nerfs, while my Multi-Silence and Headwinds will surprise my opponent.
Yes, My Battle works perfectly as I expected; with the Fog of Wars ruleset no way for me or my opponent to use monsters with abilities such as Sneak or Opportunity. The best choice in this situation is using Magic Meta or Ranged-type Meta; I can set up multiple-nerf abilities for my opponent.
Note: I tried to change my writing style from a long and tedious version to a shorter and more descriptive one. I hope. You can enjoy it.
