Some time ago I published photos of the CORNUS KOUSA tree on my profile. For those who may have missed that post, I'm sharing the link here:

In my previous post I focused on the tree and its flowers in their natural form. This time I wanted to look at the same tree a little differently. I wanted to see how these flowers would look if I immersed them a little more in the shadows.
My goal was not to faithfully reproduce reality, but to bring out a little more mood and light, because photography doesn't always have to be a document. Sometimes it can be our own interpretation. And that's exactly why I enjoy photography so much, because it allows me to develop artistically.
I don't know how you like this version. In my opinion, despite the fairly dark frame, those white bracts still catch the eye and they almost seem to glow with their own light.
Which version do you like better?
