Well, you don’t want to be in the city when it’s over 30C outside, but… that’s life.
Seriously, most of the time it’s like living inside a concrete oven and summer has barely started…
Yet, there are some perks to this miserable life - freebies, all sorts of public events, some of them quite cool, some only so-and-so, but they’re free and it’s something to do. And it’s a decent excuse to drag the little one out of the house…
The pictures are from an event for children, which wasn’t as good as advertised, but at least we got a bit of fresh air spending an evening in the park.
The place wasn’t as crowded as I was afraid, which is, of course, a good thing - although it makes me wonder why there weren’t more people with their kids in the park on a Saturday evening? Actually this is something I’ve been wondering for a long time as I always expect kids’ show to be swarming with people… I wouldn’t even call it entertainment, as exposing young children to various experiences allows them to discover the world they live in…
Among yesterday’s performers there was an impro group, the best in the country as far as kids’ entertainment goes. While there was a decent crowd in front of the stage, there were many parents who only stopped by for a few minutes then drifted away, kids in tow. This kind of shows is fairly recent in our country, not something my generation grew up with, so people won’t bother to understand what’s going on …
After that, there were some circus acts and you could tell by the growing crowd that was something familiar, something everybody consider proper entertainment for children… not like the previous show which had its own rules and you had to listen and pay attention… too much of a bother, whereas jugglers and acrobats, that’s easy.
Made me wonder about the future - we here are firm believers in cryptos and blockchain technology and we all had to make a considerable effort to understand how this works, what are the rules… now we’re waiting for the others to catch up, but most of them prefer the jugglers and the magician at the bank that makes their money disappear…Best case scenario for us is the future will force all these people out there to make an effort to understand the rules of the new show financial system.
