For sure I agree with quality over quantity. Before there was technology, parents used to spend as you refer quality time doing activities, building or fixing things, learning skills, baking, playing ball or like you mentioned, even just talking. As I get older, I hear many of the new adults not knowing how to do many things that my generation would consider simple. the very same things that were taught from the quality time spent once upon a time rather than a screen addicted world we now have. The thing is, the techno children are likely to transfer the same patterns to their children. Being in the now is an important value to teach.
