Well two posts in one day, don't get used to that. Been a while since I participated in Big Brother G-Dog's weekend engagement fuckeries as my former self so why change my new self! HUMMM....Song with no words eh, I can manage that I think.
Why do I like the Moonlight Sonata? There is something soothing about it. I'm mostly a Metal Head, yes strange selection compared to my angry music I sleep so well to. I do enjoy lighting an incense stick and relaxing to classical music and either close my eyes or read a good book, or like right now, write a post. The lack of angry lyrics to shout and headbanging makes it easier to focus while performing tasks where I actually have to think. Maybe they were on to something when they theorize that it may actually make us smarter but will we ever know? Is this 300 words? No? Good! Moving on.
Probably looking at my posts like this owl right about now.
But Ladybug/Lady Rainbow/Rebecca/M ...why? Because when you described the hardest things, my head wasn't on that list. BOOOOOO 馃槀
Now his mood might have changed to this:
Now things I would say Yes to:
YES TO PETTING A TIGER- Why? because it looks soft and friendly
YES TO A RIDE ON THE BACK OF A BUFFALO- Why? If I survive that I would be a fucking legend and EMA champion
YES TO GO TO THE MOON-Why? Because it apears as nobody has been there since the 60's, good place to avoid people
YES TO HAVING A PET T-REX-Why? Those tiny arms are cute AF
Things I would say No to:
NO TO EATING PICKLES-Why? EWWWWW
NO TO JUMPING IN A MUD PUDDLE AT WORK-I lost one of my work boots like that, not as fun as it sounds at first glance馃ぃ
NO TO FOLLOWING THE RULES-Why? BOOOORING.
Am I a few answers short and way outside the context listed? YEESSSS. Good. Moving on. What was next on the list of options again? Ah yes...something I probably need to hear...Hum lets see...Probably FOLLOW THE RULES. Next...
Now he be looking at me like this:
Something I once did and was a really bad idea that I probably shouldn't do again馃槼. That's a long list, I do lots of those. What to choose...what to choose...
Sing my own rendition Miley's Cyrus' Wrecking ball riff turned into "land it like a wrecking ball" at work while being suspended on a crane in a man basket at 300ft in the air with 5 other guys about to land on to the structure...It really freaks people out. Funny as hell but, I probably don't actually want to land that way and fall out or have to climb 300ft of ladders to get there if the crane operator hears it on the radio and freaks out. But it all worked out in the end...He had a good sense of humor and we didn't land like a wrecking ball. 馃槄
Is this 300 words or within context? Nope not quite...GOOD.
Oh shit Big Brother G-Dog just Ema'ed me all the way into the sun and I disappeared into a big puff of smoke (good thing I have many personalities, I got a few to spare still)...I'm lavender scented if anyone is curious.
Maybe he's just hangry...Sorry Bro, I don't have a snicker, perhaps some cookies instead?
I probably should stop pushing boundaries eh...Oh wait, that was also an option! I'm sure I can find 300 words on that, I might know a thing or 2 in that department. Last time I pushed my limits? Well...LMFAO
Hard to say last time I pushed my limits because it's something I consistently do. It's how I get most of my exercise.
OK, OK, I'll be good now.
I would have to say the last substantial boundaries I pushed was probably my last job in the fall of 2022. I went on a vacation with my significant other and the mother in law...Come to think of it, that should have gone in my list of really bad ideas that I shouldn't do again. Long story short, after a lot of fuckery on her part to purposely wreck a vacation in the Rockies, there was a lot of arguing and we were all supposed to sleep in the same hotel room but I just wanted to get away and slept in the truck instead to save on arguing and combative time. I was all tired from not sleeping the next day and distracted. I somehow didn't notice a damaged curb and my foot got caught in exposed re-bar and I went flying like superman face first into the pavement. Yeah, that nice little kink right there...
Obviously I got injured bad enough, bad sprain on my ankle and my elbow. This happened a couple of weeks before the work season began again. As contract workers, we don't have much choice, when the time comes gotta go to work or miss out and wait until spring. Because of bills and all, that was probably a really bad idea even tho I desperately needed the recovery and healing time. So I went to work. First day, I met an older fellow with a bit of a limp and the site freaked out and sat him in the lunch room because he was a risk and unfit for duty. Gotta say, that cleared out my own limp real fast. Naturally, my job is pretty heavy duty and requires a lot of climbing and since I'm built like a string bean, they like to send me in tall skinny stuff we call towers and I have a reputation for being a tower slayer (generally 150 to 300 feet tall and all ladders).
I found myself in a bit of a pickle (with my natural hatred for them, I probably don't want to be in one either). I got sent in tower after tower the entire job, climbing ladders with a sprain ankle and elbow. 5 of them to be exact...dear lord that hurt. But I put my big girl panties on, shut my mouth and did it anyway because the image of that old dude with a limp and his fate was imprinted in my memory. Half way into the job I get a call from the Dr to go in for an assessment to see if I was fit to return weight to it and go to work. Oops I may have been a little premature on that so I just ignored the phone call and the assessment...I think that ship had sailed. I made it and luckily, I didn't have to climb the 300 ft one because we had a manbasket (good thing) but I had to climb all the other ones both for open and closing all the internals and I somehow pulled it off without aggravating my injury and it's all healed up so it's all good but it was def pushing boundaries and felt like it.
Go ahead count them words!
Have a good week-end! Laterz Skaterz 馃ぁ
