community 🙋🏾♀️and happy Sunday🙋🏾. Hope you're having a great day. This is my second entry to the DIYHub contest "International Women's Day👩🏾". I'm so excited to be one of the participants.
Being a woman is a superpower, women are being celebrated and recognized all over the world for their achievement. On the 8th of March, women are being honoured for their strength, courage and commitment.
This piece of art👩🏾🍼 portrays total commitment of women to everyone's life.
Before we proceed, I would like to show the materials I used
Cardboard Paper (white)
Water Paint🎨
HB Pencil✏️
Multiple Coloured Seed Beads
Glue
Black Pen 🖋️
Of course, I wanted the drawing this time to be a woman, actually a mother carrying a baby 🤱🏾showing that she iis happy. Now I would like to show the steps. We used in creating this beautiful art. 🤱🏾
Step 1
We will place our Cardboard aside for drawing and sketch out a woman wearing a turban.
We will sketch the face looking sideways and downward.
After this, we will sketch out the body of the woman, like I said before.
I wanted a woman carrying a baby 🤱🏾.
Now, we have to sketch the baby 👶🏾 lying with the head at the left, covered with a blanket.
Now we will sketch the hands👐🏾 carrying the baby 👶🏾. We will sketch the eyebrows, the eyes 👁️the nose 👃🏾and the lip 👄, I made the woman smiling 👩🏾 at her baby 👶🏾
Step 2
We are done with the sketch, we will then use our black pen🖋️ to make the sketch thicker. We will use the pen 🖋️ to darken the eye 👁️, eyebrow, the lip 👄,the baby's face looking at his mom 👶🏾. After that, we would use the pen 🖋️ to darken the whole drawing.
At this point, we will draw a circle ⭕ around the woman and her baby
Note; This was because I wanted to write another thing outside the circle ⭕ this was from my imagination so it later turned out very beautiful.
Here we can write "Happy International Women's Day 8th March 2024" outside the circle ⭕, this was so beautiful, I really love it but I was not done yet.
Step 3
Now, we will then paint 🎨 the picture; I painted the "Happy International women's Day 8th March 2024". I love this colour combination that was why I used it, and it turned out to be so beautiful
Step 4
It is time for us to color the turban. I coloured it reddish-orange 🔴🟠 with paint and then the baby's blanket red🔴 and green🟢 at the folded tip of the blanket and we will colour the cloth pink and purple, this looked so beautiful, I thought of designing the woman's dress with glue the seed beads to the woman's cloth and turban and green🟢 beads on her hair.
I really love the design, it made the drawing beautiful, then I painted the circle ⭕ black and then the surrounding I painted Yellow 🟡.
