I have not been active for few days due to my tight schedule
I am back now and can't wait to share this earring I made today.
let me proceed with this beautiful brick and beaded fringe pendant.
The materials used;
golden seed beads 11/0
White seed beads 11/0
Orange seed seed beads 11/0
Earring hooks
Beading thread
Beading needle
Scissors and Plier
Step 1
In making this earring ,I took 220cm long thread a ,then I used 80cm for upper triangle and 140 cm for the pendant. Then I picked 4 orange beads and pass through the same 4 beads and pulled the thread to form two column of 2 beads and I picked 2 orange beads and step down through the 2 previous beads and step up , until I got 6 columns and went ahead to add 2 golden beads, I had to continue with the same steps until I made another 6 columns with the orange beads which at the end of the first columnI got 6 orange beads , 1 golden bead and 6 orange beads.
Step 2
I took 4 orange seed beads and went through the thread of the second orange bead from the back of the first column and went up through the 4 orange beads and again through the last 2 orange beads of those among the new beads I added.
I added 2 orange beads and went through the thread of the previous column and took another 2 orange beads and went through the thread of the previous column and went up through the 2 orange beads.
I repeated this process two more times and added 2 gold bead and went through the thread and through the gold beads and added another 2 gold bead and went through the thread and through the 2 gold beads then I added 2 orange beads until I finish the second column . In the next column , I reduced the orange beads by one and increase the gold beads by one untill I got to the fifth column. Where the gold was meant to be 5 , I added white beads in the middle of the gold beads, I continue till the orange beads remains one in a row so I continue with white beads until I completed a whole column with the white beads and started reducing the white beads by one then at the end I added 4 bead to make a loop then I went through the threads to strengthen the loop.
Step 3
I took the trail thread and add 36 orange beads and went through the far end of the triangle and drag it and went through the opposite side of the triangle and added 30 beads and went through the other end of the triangle . I continue this process by reducing the orange beads by 6 till I finally completed the pendant.
The earring is ready!! My daughter tried it for me . Hope you like it.
