I have not been active due to my tight schedules.
Today I decided to show the steps I took in making this beautiful beaded ball earrings for my client.
The materials we need ;
Golden seed beads (2mm)
Red crystal beads (6mm)
Red seed beads
Earrings hook
Beading thread
Beading needle
Scissors and Plier
STEP 1; First , we will take 60cm of thread with the colours my customer requested. You can use any colour of your choice. We will introduce the red crystal beads (6mm) and golden seed beads (2mm) , we will proceed with the combination of red and golden colours in this manner ; 1rb +1gb +1rb+ 1gb +1rb +1gb+1rb +1gb. That is 8 beads in total.
We will go ahead to pass the needle through the 8 beads and secure few knots and cut off the tail thread. We will pass the needle through the next bead, from there we will introduce 1rb+1gb+1rb and we pass the needle through only golden beads one after the other as we will drag the thread in order to form a ball shape as shown in these pictures.
STEP 2 : When we reach to the third circle with the previous steps we will
introduce only 1 rb and we will pass the needle through 1 golden bead and go round the fourth circle. We are now at the top, we will pass the needle through the previous golden bead and drag it firmly to close any remaining opening in order to form the ball.
STEP 3 : This time , we will make the leafs design to make it more beautiful.
We will add 2 gb +1 rb +2 rb and will pass the needle through the previous golden bead . We will pass through 2 gb by the right side and turn it over and add 6 golden beads and go through it filling the space with 1 gb in order to form a leaf . After that we will make the second leaf , by introducing 1red seed bead + 1golden seed bead +1 red seed bead and pass the needle through the beads before making the second leaf in the same way we made the first leaf. After that, we will make a loop for the hook by adding 4 gbs and pass through the next bead to create the loop.
With the help of the plier we will attach the hook . We will follow the same method to make the second pair.
The earrings are ready!
