AGING AND EXERCISE

If the muscle of the human body are not excercised on a regular basis, they will shrink in size and become weak.
Eventually fatty tissue will replace the muscles leading to an increase in weight and loss of bodily strength in this state , the joint of the body are not protected and the bones tend to become more fragile.

These combine factors contribute to many serious conditions that are common among the elderly. Daily exercise can increase energy . Prevent illness, improve mental condition, control weight and increase mobility. Regular exercise will also improve changes from recovery quickly from illness. However, before starting any exercise program it is important to consult your Doctor. The health workers should recommend appropriate exercise suitable for each elderly.
Some activities enjoyed by many elders are : walking, dancing, swimming, bicycle ridding, jogging, and golfing. Weight lifting is also recommended as it increases strength and prevent weakness.
See you In my next post.
Thank you for stopping by.❤️❤️❤️
