My Introduction to decentralised social media through Hive
Hello all,
This is Shipra Mondal reporting from a launchpad ready to be launched in the world of decentralized social media. I have known the benefits of the decentralized system (being a software developer myself 馃槈) with all that no censorship and you control your data being the reason that attracted me to it.
My search lead me to steemit and while reading about that I like the concept and someone on Quora? suggested me to come to hive and ecency. So I did sign up.
Enough with the boring stuff. I guess you are interested in knowing about me. How do I start?馃
I am Shipra Mondal, a Bengali girl with dreams in her eyes. I come from a Hindu family from West Bengal but now working in Noida. I am in my late 20's, still single (looking for some prince to come on horse馃ぃ). Anyways, here is me 馃檲.

Interests
I like to travel, like a lot but travelling is an expensive thing...lol. But I have made many plans and would love to travel the whole world. Here are some of my travels for you.
My visit to Jaipur. I loved those umbrellas there. Handmade by locals, so cute 馃槏. Can you see the structure like Great wall of china? That's the 'Great Wall of Jaipur' in Rajasthan, India. I will tell that story in some other post.
I guess pictures are much better at telling about me than my words. So here is me on my visit to Northern part of India. Seeing snow always lifts my mood.
In Manali, Himachal Pradesh, India.
I love nature and wildlife too. This is my visit to Sariska Tiger Reserve. It was a wonderful experience. Maybe I will tell about that in my future posts.
I love the Indian cultures and festivals too. Bengal is so rich culturally and we have had some of the best artists. Fun Fact: Three Bengali's have been rewarded the Nobel price till now.
This is me in a traditional red and white Bengali saree that I wore during the Durga Puja celebrations. Durga Pooja is one of the biggest festival in India, a ten day festival with so many events and ritual during that, especially in the last 5 days. As usual, more on that later. 馃槈
Did I say that I am a foodie too? As you can see from those pictures, that fat tummy is due to my eating habbits.. haha. I love to eat, especially the fast foods and sweets. I love sweets. 馃構
Moments away from finishing those two big Idlies and a dosa in the other plate (that was for my friend.. 馃ぃ)
I am not into crypto and investment. So, I don't know much about how things work here. Just read some helpful beginners articles here on hive. Some post said to use #introduceyourself as a tag and tag
