I was always conscious tho, even some of their practices like slave labor and stuff will turn me off from buying a product. I look a lot at ethics before consuming a brand, why I'm always the odd ball without the latest anything.
That sounds like a terrible experience, no wonder you left, I would have too. I do the same here, I refuse to use automated checkouts or fast food ordering, I like service from people not machines besides their job killing nature. We did a similar thing than you at our local Popeye's (a popular fried chicken chain), with covid our location decided to go cashless, I complained to the parent company with my stance on their cashless bullshit and that they lost my business as long as they allow these shenanigan's go on from their franchisee. I think a lot of people also complained because it lasted a whole 2 days and the staff was glad that period was behind them so I think they took a lot of shit. Proud of my neighborhood, Bunch of strangers stood up for our values.
I'm well enough. Although I did smash one of my fingers in the door pretty bad a couple of weeks back and got some tissue bruising and nerve pain while it heals , makes typing shitty but I will be better than ever soon enough...it still moves and it didn't fall off...it must be ok.
