They do tax water and drainage so technically, yeah they already tax that! 😂😂😂...oops I better not put too many of those, that's gonna be an expensive water tax bill. LMFAO

We are one of those underfunded ones, yet it's apparently one of the best plans in the country so I'm told by anyone who's ever looked into it(banks and stuff). After the 2008 crash we had to pay extra hourly, we got it back now but had to put it towards our health plan because now that's underfunded. If you ask me there is probably some well paid fluff positions and shady shit going on as well.

We pay a lot in income tax, it's insane depends on what tax bracket but over 30% of my income in tax right off my paycheck. Also all the other taxes piggy backing other taxes yes it becomes a bit much and it feel like we are getting dry fucked in every orifice right now. With a declining dollar/purchasing power + new taxes like carbon taxes raised the cost of living while our wages are going down. My last raise was over a decade ago but my cost of living is much more now. I'm not in dire straits but I can see the Nickle and dimes vanishing into thin air like a fart in the wind without even spending a penny if you know what I mean. Homelessness is on the rise, many people couldn't pay their spring rent because of covid and they closed everything so everyone lost their jobs, now they are talking more lockdowns. The population at large is getting stomped on while much of corporations are supported by government including airlines and stuff. I don't mind paying taxes if it truly went to help elevate fellow Canadians to a basic standard of living but we both know that's not what tax money is used for, at least only a minimal portion is. My perspective on life has changed a lot the last few years.

As far as the crypto world, I know everyone is getting excited for the moon landing and lambos right now but I think we are still far ways away from mainstream adoption, there is still plenty of time. In the meantime there will be ups and downs, scams, failed good intentions, some projects will succeed. At the end of the day slow and steady wins the race. They are talking more lockdowns over here, proving the need of having something else that can be done from home to earn. Might be too late for this round but I'm sure some will be looking for solutions in creative places if these sort of lockdowns become a trend. The population at large needs to take a min and revalue themselves and what their time is worth. One thing I learned in life I don't buy things with money, I buy things in pieces of my time I gave away to have that. Changes your spending habits real fast! Regardless some are waking up and that's where the crypto world will gain popularity once they discover there is a place where it's a more even playing field and organic.
