I hear they were pretty brain washed and crazy yes. Lota bad things happened over there. I think 16 is your introduction to adulthood and a person is very impressionable at that age so naturally events leave a deeper mark. I don't think any of these young men really knew what they were going to see.

I hope he did too but I'm not sure. It's not something he ever talked about except that one time for my school project or when I said I wanted to join the military because it would help me get an education. He actually forbade it. I never pushed the issue and went a different direction instead. We never talked much tho, not sure if he was just quiet or just not to partial too me because I was just extra.
