This is the dog I nicknamed "the one with glasses," because of those markings around his eyes, like he's wearing a pair of spectacles.
He showed up at the shop a while back, already in the company of Motitas and the other regular visitors. Unlike Motitas, he does have a home, though as I mentioned before, that doesn't always mean much out in the countryside.
The funny thing is he has a twin brother, and so far it's nearly impossible for me to tell them apart. They both have the same coat, the same size, and those same characteristic markings around the eyes.
They almost always come together, as if they were inseparable. They share the same owner, and therefore the same "luck."
For now, until I manage to tell them apart with certainty, I'll keep calling both of them "the dog with glasses," until some gesture, some mark, or something in the way they approach lets me know which of the two I'm talking to.
That's part of what's both lovely and complicated about this community: every day a new face joins, and sometimes, like in this case, two faces that look like one.
