For a few months now there has been a divide between the west and east parts of the Tennessee PPC. The two sides can't seem to find common ground which is sad due to the fact that we are fighting for the same thing. Bringing a voice to the unhoused, low income people, mentally ill, LGBTQ+ community and other disadvantaged communities. I will admit that the west side of the state have more African Americans living in dire poverty then white. While here in the eastern part of the state of Tennessee there are more white people in poverty then African Americans. I do my best to stay neutral in this fight due to the fact that this fighting brings back memories of many family fights. This fighting can cause my anxiety to rise. I am hoping that there can be a peace deal made to bring us all on equal ground again. In the mean time I am going to concentrate on my work to bring more witches, pagans and other nature based religious people into PPC If you would like more information on the Poor People's Campaign please go to the website. www.poorpeoplescampaign.org
