Hello everyone. As i’m writing this post we’re at 13 degrees in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Winter officially started today. I’m happy because i love winter but there’s one thing i hate about it and it’s the fact that my skin is too sensitive because i have rosacea and this makes it a little annoying for me. I have to constantly clean my clean and apply some things to hydrate my skin. Of course i try to drink plenty of water during the day as well. Thankfully it only affects when the winter begins for the first couple of weeks, then starts to go back to normal and is not that bad. I just have to be very careful and avoid hot drinks, hot showers and spicy food.

For some reason it was difficult for me to sleep last night. It was already midnight and i was hungry. I was talking with my roommate and he was feeling the same way so we both agreed to cook something and watch some episodes of Parks and Recreation. Thankfully i’m not spending this quarantine time alone cause that would make things a lot more difficult. I like being surrounded by nice people and my friend is one of these great people who has a positive vibe all the time and that helps me to stay in a good mood. I think we help each other.

12:30 am and none of us could sleep and both of us were pretty hungry. We didn't really have a lot to choose from, but we realized we had enough to have a decent meal.

So we had: crab sticks, egg, wholemeal bread and oranges. We couldn’t decide so we had it all. I don’t know why we were so anxious. It’s already this early and i woke up already. Had like only 4 hours of sleep but i prefer to wait until night cause whenever i take a long nap during the day i find it extremely difficult to sleep early. So i will spend the day with my sleepy face so i can have a decent night sleep.

First we chopped our crab sticks and also some chives and a piece of pepper. Then i added some homemade mayonnaise and that was it.

For the eggs we didn’t have enough to experiment with so i did what i could with what we had. Had my eggs on a bowl and added some chopped peppers and tomato. Cooked it for around 5 minutes just before it got too dry.

For drink we had a delicious orange juice. Luckily we realized we had those cause we found them hidden somewhere in the fridge. Perfect timing.

As you can see it was nothing too difficult or gourmet but it was good enough for us. We just wanted to have a good time and eat something while we watched our favorite tv show: Parks and Recreation. That Amy Poehler is the funniest. Love her. We also watch is with subtitles cause we’re always looking to perfectionate our english.

It’s early here in Buenos Aires but i had to wake up cause i have some things to do today. The COVID-19 numbers keep increasing here in Argentina so we all have to be careful. I’m only going out because i have to and i got my permission to go out already so it’s all good. Wherever you are take good care of yourself. Hope you all have a fun sunday. Until next time. Cheers from a venezuelan living in Argentina.
