"Ganahan ka muapil sa Hive day?" (Do you want to join Hive?) A million-dollar question (Haha) that was cordially asked and yet was merely taken for granted. How could I???!
Two years ago, a friend once asked me that question. I asked her what is that "Hive" that she was talking about. She then explained to me all about it. Since she saw my artworks posted on Facebook, she thought it would be better if those paintings were posted on Hive and earned from it rather than on Facebook or Instagram alone. But during that time, I was not that interested and in fact, I also wonderingly question myself "why?" Haha!
And then 2 years later, she mentioned this platform again. Thank God for her eagerness in pursuing me to have me get onboard here on Hive. On the first attempt, I failed. I did not know what went wrong but the account I made could not access Peakd. I tried it with Ecency but also did not work. I already lost hope and accepted that maybe this platform is not intended for me. But she did not give up on me. She let me try to open another account from another phone and Eureka! Hive finally accepted me. It was May 13, 2022, when I had my mandatory Introduction Post posted. And after one and a half months, here I am, finally harvesting the sweet fruit of my labor. Today I have finally withdraw my very first payout. I have already tasted the icing of Hive, finally. ☺️
Forever grateful to hive. This platform has led me to the journey I have always dreamed of taking. Hive is a whole new world of endless discoveries for me. Here, I was able to found a catalyst for my passion for writing as well as a virtual gallery where I can showcase my artworks and be appreciated. It has also given me the chance to meet nice and friendly people (from all walks of life) from different corners of the globe by interacting with them through the comment/reply box. It has been a glimpse of different and amazing cultures from all over the world.
And now, I never thought that I could be savoring the embellishment it has given me. Through my Hive earnings, I was able to buy this pair of shoes. Actually, I am really not that person who is fascinated with shoes and is into collecting them. But since the money that I earned from Hive has just came perfectly on time when my old shoes was about to retire, so I had to buy a new one. I bought this as a token that Hive will, or should I say has taken me to the new road of great adventures. This may be just a simple pair of shoes but for me, this is quite a big milestone telling me that all the efforts and passions that I have poured into the so-called "blogging" have now finally paid off. And this brand-new shoes is a beautiful reminder of one step at a time. Thank God! 🙏 I know this is just the beginning. We've got a long way to go dear.
On my home today, the beautiful sight of the sky reminded me of all the beautiful things telling me that I am indeed blessed. Blessed to have discovered Hive and more on with the things that money can't buy. And that is the good people around me who helped me on my discovery and journey with Hive.
