Cashrain
If you haven't heard the news, there's a new Bitcoin Cash tipping platform on the block. It's not your average tipping platform though, because it's focused on building communities. Anyone can create a community, link some social accounts such as Twitch, Twitter, and Discord. Then anyone in the community can "cashrain" that community, meaning they can send any amount of BCH to be split between the community. At first sight, I was very skeptical... I have to admit. I'm a big fan of Bitcoin Cash, actually, so go ahead and burn me at the stake. You have my permission.
When I first heard about Cashrain, I was like "great, another bullshit free crypto airdrop platform"... Then I started seeing all the hype around it. I started seeing people getting super excited about joining communities and getting a tiny reward. So I decided to go ahead and start joining some random communities. When you join a community, you can follow their social accounts and earn entries into their rains whenever they occur. I started getting notifications that very tiny amounts of BCH were trickling into my wallet randomly.
This was the moment I knew that I had to create a community for GM:FRENS.
As you can see, these communities can literally be anything. I think the most effective way to use the platform is to create communities around projects such as Hive, LeoFinance, and whatever other platform. There can be some substantial payouts on some of these so you might as well join some communities. If you're creating a community, I recommend using the Bitcoin.com wallet on mobile because when you do a rain, you have to scan the QR code. I attempted from a couple wallet apps and nothing worked til I tried the Bitcoin.com one.
Anyway - some users have already created Hive communities, but no one has created a LeoFinance community yet wink wink. I'll let someone else take the reigns on that, so if you plan to do that... Just DM me on Discord and I can send you an invite code. When I set up the GM:FRENS community and it got approved, users instantly started joining and following the Twitter. Then joining the Discord. It's wild how powerful the chance of receiving some tiny monetary reward is. In just 3 days, we've amassed over 500 users, probably some bots, and started driving traffic to LeoFinance.
The project was born and funded on the Threads side of LeoFinance. It's time to bring some new users to the platform through the micro-blogging platform. With the launch of the new Leo UI incoming that is going to put Threads front and center, we're about to see a drastic shift in engagement on Hive. It's the absolute perfect time to start driving people to the platform. They can easily sign up with their Twitter account and start Threading. My project adds another layer - they can immediately start mining GM tokens.
The ability to drive users to a tweet or Discord ground is pretty awesome. I fully plan on using the hell out of it, raining tiny amounts of crypto to the community. GM:FRENS wants to build up the LeoFinance community, and Cashrain is helping make that possible with yet another way to reward certain behaviors. People can be rewarded for liking and retweeting a tweet, or joining a Discord. They have options for Instagram and Youtube as well. Obviously there will be the users that literally only join to use it once and get a quick buck.. But there will be people that turn into users.
As you can see based on my analytics, there has been a bit of a spike since I started using Cashrain. There seem to be some users coing from Twitter now. We should see an uptick here for sure. I'm just one guy out on a quest to draw people into the LeoFinance platform. Cashrain was just another opportunity to drive traffic to LeoFinance using my own project, so I couldn't pass it up.
