Introducing Myself to Slothicorn 💖

Hello everyone! Before I introduce myself, I would just like to extend my gratitude and thankfulness to @slothicorn for creating such an amazing community. I've been observing and reading posts in the community and they amaze me because there are lots of artists that showcase their undeniable talent in arts. And I myself would like to share with them my works and learn from them, as well. So, without further ado, let me introduce myself to you all. 💖

My name is Queeniever and I'm from the Philippines. I'm 18 years of age, turning 19 this month. I'm an incoming 4th year college student, taking up Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering. I'm a person who is very much interested in music, arts, food, movies, series, and anything under the sun!

Arts. Why do I love arts? When did I start loving arts? Let me answer those questions for you. Since I was a kid, I was always sketching or doodling on the back pages of my notebooks. I wrote on the right pages, I drew on the left. My elementary days were always like that. But I got insecure and started getting frustrated because I felt like my drawings were horrible. So I stopped drawing... for awhile. But then when I turned 15, I was in my 4th year in high school that time, I suddenly got motivated again in drawing. I drew a few random portraits. And yes, I got frustrated again. I got frustrated because I was really struggling when I try to improve my drawing skills. I thought, "Maybe arts is just not meant for me". So I tried to divert myself into my main passion which is music. For years, I practiced my guitar and singing skills, learned how to play ukulele, joined contests in our university, and started doing covers on social media sites. In those years, I've admired people who are into arts. It's funny how I suddenly got motivated. If other people can do it, I can too, right? I just have to believe in myself. Now, back to the first question - why do I love arts? I love arts because IT IS ARTS.

Boy, that was long. Anyways, I hope you enjoy my content and I will gladly accept comments so that I may apply them on my next artworks and be able to improve myself. I've been doing sketches and watercolor paintings these days. So, it's time for me to show all of you my works. I hope you like it.
