Paypal is one of the most untrustworthy platforms to sell your products or services. I have had over $500 stolen from me due to Paypals ridiculous 180 day money back guarantee policy. My account has been closed 10 days after opening my account and selling for the first time. I sold an IPad and a Nvidia Shield (with controller) on eBay, shipped off my items and uploaded the tracking. Great but not great... PayPal soon after decided to limit my account requesting for more information. Optimistic as I am I upload the information and wait. The next day my money became available and my account was still limited. So I decided to call PayPal to speed up the process. The representative I spoke to told me he will take a look at the documents and placed me on a 10 min hold. He came back on the phone and told me that my account has been closed and that I have to wait 180 days before I can have the money deposited into my bank account. WHAT THE FLIP???? THE CUSTOMERS HAVE MY ITEMS AND THEY LEFT GREAT FREAKIN FEEDBACK. WHY CANT HAVE MY MONEY???? All PayPal responded with is that they want to be sure that if the customer wants a refund or does a charge back that the money will be obtainable. I also asked why was this decision made and the said it was proprietary information and that I have to mail a letter to the headquarters to find out why. I'm done with PayPal.
