They may be bulls, but I'm trying to milk them for all it's worth. This is my third post of images of the Fort Worth Herd, the main attraction at the Fort Worth Stockyards. By now, you know that twice daily these longhorns leave their pen at the Fort Worth Live Stock Exchange and parade down East Exchange Avenue.

In Part 1, we peeked through the fence at The Herd. Part 2 featured images of the longhorns from above the pen. These are the last of those images. Eventually, when "longhorn fatigue" fades, I'll show you what the cattle drive looks like.

I'm presenting these images in color and in black and white. If you like both color and black and white photography, then the Colour/Black&White community (hive-150015), created and curated by daveks@daveks, is for you. Check it out!

A Guide to The Herd

Bonus Shots

This steer is not part of the Fort Worth Herd. He is tied up on the sidewalk of East Exchange Avenue. For $5, you can take pictures sitting astride him. There is a second longhorn at the other end of the block. Step right up, no waiting...
