Beach Wednesday ~ Contemplation

This surfer is watching the competition as he contemplates getting in the water for some practice before his heat in the Point Mugu Surf Contest held at Naval Air Station Point Mugu in Southern California. As the tide went out, the practice area soon became the competition area as surfers who advanced in the competition began to spread out in search of waves.
