John 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (KJV)
The word is God. The word existed before anything was created; everything was created through the word. The word gives life to everything.
The Holy bible is the word of God. God and His word are inseparable; this means that no true believer that has his/her bearing in the God can continue in God without the word of God. Take note of this; the word of God is God personified and every true believer must mean whatever he says and says whatever he mean. When actions are not in line with your words it a clear indication that you have refused the word of God taking total rulership of your life.
All the thing we can see today and the ones we can’t see came into existence at the release of God’s word. Gen. 1:3-26
To create your experiences and expectations, you have to say “the word”.
So nothing happens in our lives until there is a speaking. Jesus had so much word in Himself that would have changed the happenings around him but he kept quiet and like a lamb He was slaughtered that He might through His dead add value to the His word in our mouth.
The Blind Bartimeaus son of Timeaus cried out the more;
Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
For us to be saved from every difficult situation that challenges our lives and destiny, we must speak the word.
It will also interest you to know that there can be no salvation for a person that beliefs in his heart and refuse to confess with his that Jesus Christ is Lord. Rom 10:9.
Any believer that wants to be relevant in his/her generation, he must desire the sincere milk of God’s word which produces the life of God in him.
Note there is a different between reading the bible and studying the bible. Studying the bible has to do with an in-depth revelational knowledge while reading the bible has to be with your ability to
identifying and understanding the meaning of the characters and words in written or printed material.
In studying God’s word, one must pay attention to every single word, phrase, punctuation marks and clause.
