The beautiful fall prime colors are quickly receding, with majority of trees now having lost their leaves already. It has left us with a few wonderful fall days before winter starts, with some 70 (21C) degree temps yesterday and today.
It was great walking through all the crunchy leaves and see deep through the woods that was impenetrable to the eye just two weeks ago.
These yellow leafed trees from last week are now all completely bare.
The visibility did show other things, as well, I found this deer spine, skull and bones near the creek, next to the path I've walked at least 6-7 times in the past month without seeing them due to the undergrowth that was hiding them. Now they were clearly visible.
A reminder that there are predators in the woods, this one likely fallen by a Coyote, or pack of them.
I just love finds like this along the way. Well of course Betty enjoyed our long walk today. Kramer the Cat didn't go, but was also enjoying his nap time.
I hope you enjoy your Sublime Sunday as much as I have this week!
