Happy Ssssublime Sunday! Went around the corner of house to get the shovel on the way to garden and almost stepped on this fellow. He/She coiled up quickly and gave me a bit of a jump, but then realized only a harmless little garter snake. Decent sized, probably about 3 foot long.
Otherwise, it's gone from the empty trees of winter with just a few buds, to now full blown spring in under a week. All the leaves green and filling out now, the Apple trees blooming, flowers blooming everywhere.

I thought these were maybe wild strawberries, but not sure (hoping!)
The Bumble Bees just love these little purple things.
