Time will tell. The real dam and larger Pond is less than a mile upstream. I don't see any problems from the water/stream/another small pond or two point of view. May be good for the fishes, waterfowl, and other critters. Now the trees is another matter. While there are certainly plenty now, not sure how much damage they will continue with over several years. Will be interesting to find out. For now, I'm just excited at the opportunity to see them in the wild. I can't wait to get some photo shots of them. My own little Jeremiah Johnson spot.
