Hey guys so it has been a while since I last posted, things have been a little up and down in my world and it came to a point - where I need to take some time away and focus at home, so in other words I have been trying to get my shit sorted.
Well it's safe to say my shit may never be sorted :D but I am doing better and a big step for me, is starting back up my Open Mic posts and judging.
So here I am at week 142 and sure enough you guys didn't let me down, what an absolutely amazing week - filled with heaps of brilliant performances, I am stoked to be back and in the swing of things again.

When the music starts I was intrigued, then I heard the first sustained vocal line and I knew I had first place - just an amazing performance, on every single level that did not let down in any way.
The playing is just brilliant, I cannot fault a thing - but it's truly the vocals that steal the show, not to mention the stunning addition of harmonies that just took this to the next level.
Your vocals were absolutely amazing, I was struck at first by the falsetto - then by your expert control of it, I really can't say enough to praise this performance.
This was an amazing performance, executed with precision and skill - I couldn't be happier to be starting back up again this week with entries like these!

I'm so sorry to hear the motivations behind this song, but so thrilled you shared the beautiful music those shitty circumstances lead too.
You absolutely had me entranced the moment you began, the tone and feel of the song is warm and inviting - there's a hopefulness trickled throughout, that lightens the feel adding even more texture and emotion.
The playing is perfection, I love the mixing - I really prefer being able to hear all the lyrics and the vocals without too much overpowering it all.
I have to say though it was your vocals that had me sold, what a brilliant vocal range and control you displayed throughout - I absolutely adored that song and hope to hear more soon.

You guys just smashed it this week, so awesome to see you both here - this is what I've been missing, just some amazing tunes performed sublimely well.
As always your playing is perfection, just like a second nature for you - then there's the bloody brilliant vocals, you guys are both amazing singers.
The vocal tone and range was well displayed, the texture you created with the song worked so well - not to mention the kick ass vocal agility displayed (with what appeared very little effort) and best of all you guys looked like you had fun!
4th Place -

Wow man great to see you back here again, not to mention thrilled to be treated with another awesome Carl Nash original - this song was just brilliant and I couldn't get enough of it.
Your vocal tone and warmth is just so appealing, accompanied by the sweet rhythm of the guitar and you had me hooked - I loved the story and that it was inspired by life, just a fun song I couldn't help but bop along too.
5th Place - 
@drewley - Bleeding Love
What a lovely rendition of a beautiful song, just brilliant - the playing as always is just superb, you always create such a full warm sound.
The singing was great, I loved the harmonies you did well to control your volume to not over power your lead vocalist - I loved the breaks in her voice, just all round awesome performance.

Open Mic's New Discord Server:
I'd like to officially welcome you all to the new Open Mic Discord server, we have been open a little while now - with many of you having already joined.
But it's still a little quiet and I blame myself partly (I didn't know the world of crazy would set in just after opening it up and I just haven't been there to engage with everyone properly or promptly), I hope to remedy this in the coming weeks and months with some big plans we have in the works.
For now it's very hush hush, as plans are finalised and things evolve - you a can be sure you guys will hear all about it.
In the meantime however, there are heaps of amazing musicians already on there - it's a tool and you guys need to use it to get full advantage.
Ask a question, request a collaboration the world is yours - hell even just go in there and play around listening to some tunes in the jukebox room!
