If a person is dear to you, if you both have a good relationship/friendship going on; then never let a misunderstanding last long! In a misunderstanding, a bridge is created. A bridge that separates us, and with time that bridge begins to burn slowly but steadily.
Blinded by ego, grudges or sheer pride we won't see it burn. We won't see the smoke rising to the sky, until the bridge is completely burnt. Leaving a huge gap between us.
At this point, returning back to each other becomes close to imposssible; its not easy to build a new bridge to reconnect. We might get too comfortable in our separate worlds and won't see the need to bother. Even in cases were we might want a reunion, for we miss each other; we might not successfully reconnect. At best all we can do is merely wave when we sight each other.
This way, a dear one becomes a stranger. A beautiful friendship/relationship gets lost and crushed.
Its sad.........
